About this piece
Stillness and structure meet in The Squat Spot Stool, a black wooden stool that balances quiet strength with architectural poise. Its circular seat and curved foundation create a sense of weight and calm, lending an organic rhythm to any interior.
This versatile piece serves as a stool, side table, or sculptural anchor within a space. The deep matte finish absorbs light with a soft, velvety tone, complementing natural textures like linen, rattan, and stone. Its presence feels intentional yet unobtrusive; a design that grounds rather than commands.
Carved from solid mango wood, the stool carries subtle traces of handwork in every contour. Variations in grain and tone reveal the craftsmanship behind it, making each piece a quiet reflection of time, material, and touch.
